The place

Available Rooms All frames and fittings present, offering shelter from the weather. No flue or smoke outlet identified. Accessible by a drivable track from Barcillonette or on foot from the Lac de Peyssier, the Pic de Crigne or the Col de Faye. Solid-built structure comprising two twin rooms of about 15 m² each, each fitted with a door and a shuttered window. An additional room of about 15 m², with a door but no window. On arrival, all the rooms were open, some panes were broken and the frames seemed neglected. Only weather-related deterioration is observed, with the false ceiling of the two main rooms starting to deteriorate. No information on the owner is available, no access ban is signposted, and no sign of forced entry is visible on the doors. An information sheet about the Refuge des Oustaus is present on one of the shutters.
