The place

Sleeping capacity: 4 Mattress spaces: 6 Open year-round in principle. The building is small but well insulated, and it isn't too cold there in winter. There are 4 mattresses, but 6 people can fit on them without trouble, or 8 with the benches. No stove or water source nearby, a broom. It's usually reached via Chamrousse, on the GR via Le Recoin in 1h30 max, or from the Roche Béranger side, via the Lac Achard and the Col des Lessines, prettier but longer. Or via the Combe de l'Oursière, which climbs noticeably more. This cabin is 1h30 from Refuge de La Pra via the GR. Access by public transport: bus stops in Chamrousse.
