The place
Manned hut of the Swiss Alpine Club at 2,486 m in the Vaud Alps. Thirty-two beds. Access via Anzeindaz or the Col du Pillon. Summer season (June to mid-September) and winter season (31 December to 30 April, weather and cable car dependent). Groups of 8 or more can book outside the season. Ninety climbing routes in the area. Additional activities: yoga, brunches, scientific talks. Two resident animals, a dog named Alek and a cat named Ruddye, welcome visitors.

Getting there
Access via Anzeindaz or the Col du Pillon. Departures from 8:30 am, arrivals before 4:30 pm. Weekend skiers can book an early cable car ride at 8:10 am with Glacier 3000 the day before.
