Cabane des Clots de Miribel

The place

Shaded wooden cabin at 1510 m below the Petit Van, above Livet (Belledonne, Isère). Maintained by local hunters but open to all. Spectacular panorama over the Romanche valley. Well-insulated, well-equipped interior: two tables, benches, shelves, stove, kitchen utensils, shovels, saw, cassoulet tins, guestbook. Sleeping loft accessible from outside or via a hatch-ladder inside. Water source nearby (sometimes limited flow). Starting point at the Chemin des Sources near the communal school (sign "Miribel - les Clots - Chamrousse").
