The place
Former shepherd's fold at 2050 m in the Queyras massif (Hautes-Alpes), on the GR 58 between Abriès and the Grand Laus, on the right bank of the Malrif torrent just before the steep climb. Minimal equipment: a simple table and an old fireplace. Mainly serves as a shelter in bad weather, capacity of about ten people. Correct but basic condition (October 2024). Proximity to the torrent makes washing up and washing dishes easy.
