Cabane des Aoupets

The place

Shepherd's hut at 2450 m in the Ubaye (Hautes-Alpes). Well located with superb views over the valley and the Brec du Chambeyron. Immaculate interior with a working stove. Table, chairs, stove, a fold-up double bed with room for 3 more mattresses on the floor. No spring or firewood nearby. Occupied during the summer grazing season: matches, bottles for spring water (two plastic pipes coming out of a stream a few metres away) and paper for the stove are provided.
