Cabane des Aiguillettes

The place

A small unstaffed concrete cabin, located in the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors Nature Reserve, a little off the trail. 4 places at a squeeze, sleeping on two stacked sleeping platforms with no mattresses. A table, two benches, broom and shovel. Sheet-metal roof lined with wood on the inside; no stove. Nearest water point: the Fontaine du Pas des Bachassons, the last water point before the southern high plateaus. Access from the Col du Rousset in about 4h, from Pré Peyret in a day, or from Les Granges via the Pas des Bachassons or the Pas de la Selle. As everywhere in the Reserve, motorised, noisy devices, whether ground-based or airborne (including drones), are prohibited.
