Cabane des 5 routes
The place
Rebuilt cabin (the old one having been destroyed) at 625 m in the Central Vosges (Bas-Rhin). Wood stove inside but no firewood stock. Electrical outlets and lighting, with a generator hookup possible at the back. Barbecue and water point nearby. Generally in good condition; the stove is efficient but the concrete floor makes it quite cold in winter.
The setting
Cabane du massif des Vosges Centrales (secteur proche de Natzwiller/Molsheim, Bas-Rhin) équipée d'un poêle à bois (bois non fourni, à apporter), de l'électricité (prises et éclairage néon) avec possibilité de brancher un groupe électrogène à l'arrière du bâtiment, d'un barbecue, d'une source d'eau potable à proximité et de latrines.
A bit of history
L'ancienne cabane a été détruite ; un nouvel abri a été reconstruit à sa place, à une date non déterminée.
