The place

Unstaffed hut at 1000 m in Sabarthès (Ariège), near Foix/Tarascon-sur-Ariège. Fireplace with a rusty but working stove, old kitchen utensils with a few basic supplies, a table, a bench. Hut very dirty throughout, as is the rest of the structure. Mezzanine in good condition but very dirty. Access via a forest track just before Gourbit heading east, straight on for 3 km to the end of the truck turnaround, then a path climbing west for 200 m.
