Cabane de St Guiral

The place

Hut with no door, built of concrete blocks. Good condition. Fireplace, furniture including table and benches. By rearranging the furniture, 2 or 3 sleeping spots are possible. Water in the stream (plentiful in late April 2018). The GR 66 passes right in front, via the Saint Guiral forest road, between Dourbies and the Col de l'Homme Mort (where the GR 71 also passes). In the forest, about 500 m north of the Rocher de Saint Guiral (1366m, a historic and legendary site, Whitsun pilgrimage).
