Cabane de Saleinaz

The place

Staffed CAS Neuchâtel hut at 2691 m in the Mont-Blanc massif (Val Ferret, Valais, Switzerland), along the Saleinaz glacier facing the Aiguille d'Argentière, between Val Ferret and the Trient glacial plateau. Capacity 48 bunks spread across 4 dormitories with sleeping bags provided. Staffed summer season: 5 June to 21 September 2025. Staffed winter season: 13 March to 23 April 2025. Since summer 2013, via-ferrata-style iron rungs have made crossing the rock-slab section easier. Warden Michel Abplanalp, +41 27 783 17 00.
