The place
Recently built, well-maintained stone cabin at 1550 m altitude in the Couserans (Ariège). Two small rooms with a fireplace and an iron bed frame without a mattress (5 places possible on the floor with mats). Open year-round. Water trough 50 m to the north. Mainly used by shepherds, hunters and hikers taking a break.

Getting there
From Massat, D18 towards the Port de Lers; at the bend 1 km before the Lers ponds, a 4x4 track (300 m of ascent). Or via the trail from the Port de Lers.
