The place
Unstaffed hut at 2199 m altitude in the Bigorre (Hautes-Pyrénées), near the Lac de Rabiet. Recently renovated, mainly used by anglers. Two levels of wooden sleeping platforms for 8 people, concrete structure that stays warm at night in summer. Movable iron tables and benches, two metal-shuttered vents, fireplace but no firewood available nearby.

Getting there
Hut about 15 min below the main trail. From the Col de Rabiet (~45 min from the Refuge Packe), descend towards the lake. Alternative via the Col de Pierrefitte.
