The place

Renovated Mountain Hut The Mountain Hut, fully renovated in 2014, offers a resting place for 6 people with comfortable mattresses. Nestled in an alpine setting, it offers a warm, well-equipped space. Amenities and Comfort Sleeping capacity: 6 spaces. Renovation: Quality insulation, metal furniture, full set of dishes, photovoltaic lighting, and fireplace. Water source: Near a stream for an abundant water supply. Note: During chamois hunting season (September/October), the hut is reserved for hunters. Access and Activities Ideally located as a starting point for hikes toward the Crête de l'Isard or the Rulhe refuge, the hut offers a sweeping view over the Savignac valley. Access is via an 800-meter climb from the end of the road, through the Najar valley. Cost and Booking Rental: Free. Booking: Not required, first come, first served. Note: The hut is not stocked with firewood for the fireplace. Usage Period The hut is available from May to October, except during chamois hunting season. Please check exact dates with the Ariège Prefecture.
