The place
Unstaffed hut located at 1810 m of altitude in the upper Savignac valley, in Haute-Ariège. Fully renovated in 2014, good insulation, equipped with dishes, tables, metal stools, photovoltaic lighting, fireplace and metal bunk beds. 6 beds year-round. Abundant water from the nearby stream, but no wood in the surroundings. During the isard (Pyrenean chamois) hunting season (3 weeks in September-October), occupied by hunters.

Getting there
800 m of elevation gain from the end of the road. Good intermediate point for the Crête de l'Isard and the Refuge du Rulhe.
