The place
Unstaffed shelter at 390 m in the Hautes-Vosges (Bas-Rhin, Grand Est), built by ONF in 1979 and renovated in 2012 by the Club Vosgien de Sélestat. Forest cabin allowing hikers and mountain bikers to cool off before continuing toward the Haut-Koenigsbourg. Part of the network of 430 unstaffed cabins and shelters across the Vosges massif, open year-round and free of charge. An interesting stop on the loops around the Chapelle de l'Aigle and the Haut-Koenigsbourg.
