Rustic Mountain Cabin The Rustic Mountain Cabin offers two sleeping spots on foam mattresses, in a stone structure with a gable roof of corrugated steel sheeting. Condition and Facilities The cabin is not very clean, but remains usable. It is equipped with an open fireplace filled with stones (untested), a wood saw (with no wood nearby) and a wooden pallet. The two foam mattresses are dirty but usable. The roof appears to be in good condition. Water Supply A water source is accessible by following the track in front of the cabin, about a 5-minute walk to the west. The stream at this point flows lightly. Otherwise, Lake Maucapéra is 15 minutes above the cabin. Availability and Booking The Rustic Mountain Cabin is available for use. No booking required.
