The place
The shelter is surrounded by a light fence to keep grazing animals in the meadow from getting in and damaging it. Shelter marked on the IGN map. From Charnod, head towards Aromas, then climb the Vablière hill; before the top, turn left into the meadow, the hut is on the right, at the top of the meadow. Open forest shelter right in a grazed pasture, tolerant landowner.

The setting
At the top of the Vablière hill, right in a grazed pasture. From Charnod, head towards Aromas then climb the hill (Jura, 46.32°N 5.48°E, 556 m).
