The place

Planned sleeping capacity: 1. Packed-earth floor + 1 sleeping platform for 1 person. Somewhat low ceiling. No other equipment. Some draughts when the wind blows hard, as it is today (we're at a pass). A fire pit in front of the cabin, a small but ample supply of firewood nearby anyway. More than enough for one night. For water: follow the pipe running from the sheepfold on the other side of the road to easily find the water point (spring marked "large stones" on the IGN map). From La Cluse, take the Issarts forest road (paved track) on the right before the village; the cabin is 100 m to the left of the path when you reach the flat area. Or from the Col du Festre. A very small cabin restored in 2008 (judging by the "golden logbook" started in April 2009, a bit late).
