The place

Forest/hunting hut at 1145 m in the Jura (Doubs), about 3 × 6 m, equipped with 3 tables, about twenty chairs, cooking facilities, wood heating, in good condition and well insulated. Summer access via forest road (mountain bike) from Rochejean; winter access by snowshoe or cross-country ski from Granges Raquin on the marked GTJ trails. Hut reported closed in August 2025, have a backup plan. According to information from Mouthe in 2017, this shelter was supposed to be open permanently — the situation has changed.
