Rustic Cabin in the Heart of Nature The Cabane Rustique, nestled in the surrounding nature, offers a warm, authentic atmosphere for outdoor enthusiasts. With a large table, two benches, stools and a stove, it's the ideal spot to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains. Natural Setting Set deep in nature, the Cabane Rustique has no water source nearby. However, wood is plentiful around the cabin, making it possible to enjoy campfires and cozy evenings under the stars. Just bring your own sleeping mat for a comfortable night. Connectivity and Access The hut has a modest GSM signal (Orange) at its threshold, allowing a minimal connection if needed. To reach the hut by car, head to the Chausson car park (721 m) north of the hamlet of Le Fayard, in the municipality of Montaud. Then follow a yellow/green-marked route toward the Dent de Moirans. Just 5 minutes past a viewpoint table, spot the hut above and to the left of the path. Availability and Booking The Cabane Rustique is available for stays from early June to late September.
