The place

Stone cabin at 1,790 m on a fairly steep slope of the Belledonne massif (Isère), with an "eagle's nest" feel. 1 door and 1 window that close poorly, old mattresses for about 6 people, small developed spring in front of the door, little space around the table. Frequented by hunters. Sometimes closed during the shepherd's presence. Access from Livet (713 m) in about 2h30 over 3 km and 1,100 m elevation gain — a lightly used route for the Vaudaine valleys.
