The place
An unstaffed stone hut located at 2003 m altitude in the Couserans (Ariège), renovated in 2007. 6 comfortable sleeping places (2x3 beds with foam mattresses), table, 2 stoves at the back, blankets. Window and door that close properly. Streams sometimes dry up; a lake above allows water to be filtered if needed. Well maintained.
