Cabane de la Jasse des Esquers du Dessous

The place

Hut at 1264 m in the Savignac valley (Haute-Ariège, Pyrenees). Access from Savignac-les-Ormeaux: a 7 km dead-end road towards the Najar valley, car park at the end of the road, then a path along the stream marked in yellow. Basic shelter for 3 people summer and winter alike (4 max): concrete slab covered with foam mattresses taking up the whole hut, fireplace, firewood and water nearby. No table or bench, but a saw, a grill and 3 pots; dry firewood inside.
