Cabane de la Jasse de Sénard: A Rustic Mountain Shelter The Cabane de la Jasse de Sénard is a refuge located in the Aston valley, offering 8 sleeping places. Rebuilt on the remains of a former shelter, it is divided into two compartments, one of which is reserved for herders. Well insulated, it is equipped with tableware, a table, benches, kitchen utensils, and a sink with running water in summer only. Firewood for heating is available 500 metres to the east-northeast. Occupied by a shepherd from early June to late October, the cabin is easily accessible from the Pont des Galis, following a path zigzagging up toward the ruins of La Fruitière.
