The place

Cabin at 2065 m in Haute-Ariège, accessible from L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre via the Sainte-Suzanne car park, GRT heading west (passes three times under a penstock then right of a dam at 1985 m; after the lake, climb straight up to the right, 60 m of ascent). Made up of two parts: one for the herders in season, the other closed off (salt storage). Clean inside and out, 5-6 foam mattresses, table and bench, water 25 m to the north (spring upstream of a wetland). Locked since January 2025 — no hiker access.
