The place
Unstaffed cabin at 1800 m in the Queyras (Hautes-Alpes). Easy access from Arvieux, via part of the GR 58 then the path leading to Lac Lauzon, then to the Col du Lauzon. One room with a table, benches and a wooden cupboard storing provisions. No mattresses or sleeping platforms. Basic shelter for Queyras hikers.
