Cabane de la Culasse

The place

Likely a communal hut at 1830 m in Cerdagne (Pyrénées-Orientales), also known as Cabane de Villa-Simón. Occasionally occupied by the owners of cows and horses that spend summer in the area. Accessible on foot and by 4x4 with permission. Somewhat old building, broken windows but with shutters, two chimney flues in average condition. Access from the Llo valley or descending from the Puigmal. A waypoint for hikers exploring the Puigmal and the Pic de Finestrelles.
