The place
Small unstaffed stone hut located at 1664 m of altitude above Gourette, between the resort and the Lac d'Anglas, in Béarn (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). Spartan construction: concrete sleeping platform for 2 people, the original stove has disappeared, only the outdoor chimney remains. Water from the Valentin stream flowing in front of the hut. Renovated by an international volunteer work camp in 2010.
