Cabane de la Chaume du Grand Ventron

The place

Small raised wooden shelter in the forest along the forest track leading to the Grand Ventron. Insulation and cleanliness could be improved (no broom), but the location and equipment are good: benches, tables, stove and firewood, windows for watching wildlife. Too bad the place isn't respected (graffiti, toilet paper left carelessly all around — I filled a whole bag...). No more water nearby!! From the Col de la Vierge, once you reach the Chaume du Grand Ventron car park, go back down and immediately take the left forest path leading to the Grand Ventron. The cabin is 30m on the left, set slightly above the path. As such, overnight stays are prohibited.
