The place

Unguarded pastoral hut in the central Pyrenees, open to hikers outside the summer grazing period. Basic stone construction, fitted with a hearth and a few rustic sleeping spots. Serves mainly as an emergency shelter or short stopover for hikers crossing the mountain pastures. Water points nearby depending on the season. No booking or services; bring a sleeping bag, stove and food.
