The place

A small hut, entirely built of wood, at 950 m in the Bornes-Aravis massif (Haute-Savoie), with a well-kept setting. Minimal comfort: sleeping directly on the floor, a small table inside, two plexiglass windows replaced with plastic sheeting, a spring in front of the hut. Access by car via a forest track in very poor condition (not recommended) — better to park before the tarmac ends and finish on foot. Unstaffed hut, open access.
