The place
Well-equipped, unstaffed hut located at 1325 m altitude in the Chartreuse massif (Isère). A pleasant refuge in a combe that gets the evening sun. Working wood stove, good insulation. Fittings: stove, table, two benches, shelves with kitchen utensils, sleeping platform for 2 people, mezzanine sleeping space. Less busy than the neighbouring Cabane de Jusson.

Getting there
Just above the Pas de la Miséricorde, continue the trail towards the Alpage des Hurtières. From the Combe des Veaux junction, descend to the right, then follow the Hérétang stream. Non-permanent stream: bring water.
