Cabane de l'étang d'Artats

The place

Cabin at 1695 m near the Étang d'Artats, in the Sabarthès (Haute-Ariège). The main cabin is occupied by fishermen and closed, but an adjoining structure remains open. Very small, with a table, two cupboards, a broom, a wood stove in good condition, a saw. Floor sleeping space for 2 people in the single small room. A stopover for hikers heading to the Pic de Bassibie and Pla de Madame.
