Cabane de l'Enclos

The place

Cabin at 1270 m in a clearing in the Vercors (Isère). Stone roof and walls in relatively good condition but the front door is missing and there are no windows. Inside, minimal furnishing: a very old bench on a dusty, gravelly floor, remains of a stove. Access from Prélenfrey via the Bordeaux forest road, turn left onto the road to Chaussonneyre around 1200 m, car park at the 1190 m point, then a yellow-green trail to a junction at 1245 m and an unmarked left-hand branch.
