Cabane de l'Artigue de Sesques

The place

Shepherd's hut at 1410 m in the Aspe valley (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Béarn), open outside the summer grazing season. Destroyed by an avalanche in 2015 and rebuilt in 2016 by an international volunteer work camp organised by the Concordia association. Located in a large grassy hollow crossed by hikers heading to the Pic de Sesques (2606 m) and Lac d'Isabe. Interior: table, benches, 2 to 3 mezzanine sleeping places with mattresses, gas bottle and stove.
