Cabane de l 'Aireu

The place

A very lovely cabin, the kind you'd wish to see more often... a bit off the beaten track from any road accessible by car. It is clean and deserves that the place be respected. The inside is clean, with a large table with benches that can seat 8 to 10 people, and a smaller table against a wall. The Godin stove is a bit old but works wonderfully. No smoke and it warms the room quickly. There is a stream about 500m from the cabin towards the Col de Morbieux and a 'spring' marked by a sign on the cabin about 600m in the other direction. No catchment or fountain, a filter is recommended. From the Col de Morbieux, follow the red-circle ONF marked path, municipality of Le Ménil (Ramonchamp)
