The place
Unstaffed cabin at 900 m in the Vivarais (Ardèche), accessed via the Foujas trail from the Croix de Boiray. No insulation, metal roof with a "gutter" that directs water towards the middle of the shelter. Recent bedding of spruce branches observed inside; the run-down state of the place suggests it serves as shelter for hunting dogs.
