The place

Forest cabin made of planks. Very spartan, no view. Heating: no stove. The cabin is in the forest, with wood all around. Sleeping: sleeping platform in the mezzanine. No mattress, no blanket. Furniture: table and bench. Tools: None. Water point: Nothing in the immediate vicinity. A sign reading "Torrent >" is painted on the wall of the cabin pointing toward the trail that goes down to the Treuil stream (this trail is obscured by the word "Coupourier" on the map). The cabin is marked on IGN maps. Coordinates read from carto-exploreur. Trail from Livet. There are many trails drawn on the map on this side of the valley. According to my (non-exhaustive) survey, some are in good condition, while others are hard to follow, overgrown with vegetation. ONF
