The place

Sleeping spots: 8 Water is at the stream 150 m to the E (needs treating!). Metal bunk-style sleeping platform without mattress, metal table and benches too. Tools present: a large sledgehammer, an equally massive axe, both with handles made of metal tubing: enough to discourage thieves. As a general rule in Andorran huts, everything is metal: it doesn't burn. From Ransol, a small paved road climbs north up to a car park. From there a trail heads north. You're quickly above the tree line (aside from a few isolated pines) and the hut is reached in 1h30, right in the middle of the combe.
