The place

Cabin at 984 m in the Vercors (Drôme), reached via a forest road from the west of the village on moderate slopes. Former sheepfold or building dating from before the 19th century at the latest. Divided into two compartments each with a door, stone vault in the southern section. No sleeping arrangements, no mattresses, no blankets, no water within 100 m, no latrines. Stove present, forest nearby. Note: from the Cabane Rouge car park, the track is reserved for forestry convoys, which may restrict access.
