Cabane de Brouffier

The place

Cabin at 2154 m on the shores of Lac de Brouffier (Taillefer, Isère). Access from the road to Lac de Poursollet (path leaving from a bend with a military memorial) towards the Taillefer and the Brouffier ridge; or from the Alpe du Grand-Serre via Louvet, climbing alongside the stream via the Combe Guiliman in 2 hours. Recently enlarged, renovated and insulated — but now reserved for pastoral use and closed to hikers since June. Water at the lake, no spring nearby.
