The place

Beds planned for sleeping: 4 Beds on mattresses: 2 A fairly recently built cabin, or at least recently restored. Nice and dry. A first room with a large fireplace, a small table, 2 chairs and a bench. A second room with two bunk beds and 2 pieces of foam. There is no well-organised water point nearby, but depending on the season the small streams shown on the map may be dry. Better to bring your own supplies up. Wood is plentiful. Via the Laurenti forest road (unpaved but open to traffic in summer). Park at the place known as "Plaine d'Artigues". Continue up the GR 7A for 200m.
