The place
Small hut open year-round, located at 1275 m in Haute-Ariège, on the GR loop trail of the Montagne d'Ax. In the forest near a stream. Basic facilities in poor condition: table, bench, well-drawing fireplace, low sleeping platform. 2-3 mattresses (capacity ~4). Firewood available nearby, water close by. Steep climb from the end of the track: ~1h15.
