Cabane de Béze - ax les thermes

The place

Very small hut at 2175 m near Ax-les-Thermes (Sabarthès, Haute-Ariège). Capacity 3 people in both summer and winter on a raised sleeping platform with mattresses, fireplace, water nearby. Genuinely cramped: mattress space for 2 small people, no room for a table. Clean and in good condition on recent visits; stream nearby but no firewood available in the surrounding area. On the routes toward Pic de Baljesou and Pic de Bèze.
