The place
Abri de la Pare Mountain Shelter Located in a magnificent mountain region, the Abri de la Pare consists of two separate structures: The ONF cabin: currently closed, with a woodshed at the back. The open shelter: smaller, able to comfortably accommodate two people. It is equipped with a stove, a sleeping platform and a table. Route to Get There To reach the Abri de la Pare from Les Sanières, follow the signs for Saint Flavi, then continue toward the Cabane forestière de Fumet and finally the Cabane de Belmont. It is also possible to arrive via a level path from Champéroux and the barns. Availability and Access The shelter is currently open to welcome hikers, but booking is not required. Feel free to make use of this small refuge for a break during your mountain outings.
