Equipment and Access Information Sleeping places: 4 Places on mattress: 4 Equipment: - 1 sleeping platform - 1 (small) table - 1 (small) bench, everything is small at Bela... - Outside, a wooden picnic table with its 2 attached benches To reach the Cabane de Bela from the Aston valley, follow these directions: Drive up to the car park at the 1st hairpin bend just above the Riète dam, past the EDF power station. Go down a few dozen metres to the north to cross the stream on the left (2 footbridges). Climb through the forest on a good path that curves south up to the Pont du Pas de la Crabe. Cross the bridge to change banks and continue up to the Cabane de Bela. Note In spring, the stream flowing down can become quite large and partly flood the flat area leading to the bridge after the Cabane de Quioulès. It is advisable to check weather conditions before setting out.
