Cabane de Beauregard

The place

Simple wooden-plank cabin at 1960 m in the Beaufortain massif (Savoie). Very poorly insulated, no stove or fireplace, no sleeping platform — formica table, 2 chairs and a bench. In case of heavy rain or snow, possible to sleep on the floor (concrete surface) or take shelter. Water nearby (10 m) via a plastic pipe coming out of the ground — source and drinkability uncertain. In August 2020, sufficient flow to wash (1 liter in 5 seconds).
