The place
Beautiful hut at 1865 m in the Aulon regional nature reserve (Hautes-Pyrénées). Sleeping platforms on two levels. Gets little sun in winter, and the approach trail has a section exposed to avalanches. Note: using the fireplace is forbidden and gathering wood is banned due to the regional nature reserve status.
