The place
Hortassy pastoral hut in the upper Aspe valley (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Béarn, France), at 1730 m elevation, in the Borce/Etsaut sector. Part of the continuous Béarn Aspe/Ossau cluster (batches 195+200+201+202+203+218). A stone hut used for summer herding of manex sheep and the production of Ossau-Iraty PDO cheese. GR-10 and HRP trails.
